[BUG] Using "Show windows side by side" or "Show windows stacked" leaves empty space when 7tt is running

Anonymous 7 years ago updated by Michael (Ramen Software) 4 years ago 2

Hi!

If I use the Windows arranging options in Windows 1709 Build 16299 with 7tt (v5.4) running, it will always leave an empty space instead of filling the whole screen.

As soon as I end 7tt it will arrange multiple windows correctly and fill the entire screen.

Thanks

Could you add new action - toggle language in keyboard shortcuts?

I want to change language by Caps-Lock btn.

Allow moving and reducing gaps around Win10 special icons

vertigo 7 years ago 0

The new Win10 icons (Cortana, Task View, People, Notifications, Windows Ink Workspace, and Touch Keyboard) are all locked in place with large spaces on either side of them. I'd like to be able to move them like anything else and to be able to remove the extra space around them to minimize the space they take up.

Reduce height of taskbar items

Allow height of taskbar items to be reduced.  This will be very useful hen having a vertical taskbar with many items, since more items can then be visible, instead of having to switch between multiple.

Middle click on empty space > Play/Pause FEATURE

Add option to Play/Pause media when middle clicking on empty space in the task bar. There is already a "Mute media" functionality, but not Play/Pause.

Bug: blue screen of death

Anonymous 7 years ago updated 6 years ago 7

I'm getting intermittent blue screen errors when using 7+Taskbar Tweaker. I was hoping 7+tt wasn't the culprit but I recently got a BSOD immediately after installing it (after having no problems for in the intervening weeks when 7+tt wasn't installed.

I'm running Windows 7, unfortunately it's on my work computer so I can't disable other programs (e.g. antivirus) to see if there is a conflict somewhere. Other running programs include antivirus (it's some managed thing, I can't tell which brand but possible Trend Micro), HP Client Security, HP Touchpoint Manager (some stuff from HP stuff that comes on their business laptops), TeamViewer, Intel Management and Security Status, and a few others.

Thanks for your work!

Wheel when hovering over clock area doesn't work on 2nd monitor's taskbar

jungle mole 7 years ago updated by Michael (Ramen Software) 7 years ago 4

As many users, I use the feature to tweak volume by scrolling mouse wheel when hovering the clock area on tackbar. But this feature doesn't work when hovering second monitor's taskbar clock.
It's inconvenient, when something running full screen on primary display.
Is there way to fix it myself or is it a buggy behaviour?

Answer

Implemented in 7+ Taskbar Tweaker v5.4.
