auto-hide taskbar via keyboard shorcut so the taskbar stays hidden all the time

Anonymous 9 years ago updated 9 years ago 2

I need a maximum of real estate and do not want to be distracted by anything else when in my app. I want to use my mouse near or at the corner but not have it trigger the taskbar. A keyboard shortcut would do it. Is that possible?

Window Defender: potentially harmful software detected.

Anonymous 9 years ago updated by Michael (Ramen Software) 8 years ago 2

Window Defender says potentially harmful software detected and deletes 7+ taskbar tweaker.

I have downloaded from this site. The latest beta.

Answer

I assume that it's not an issue anymore.

Windows 10 Taskbar Buttons with colorization effect like Win 7?

Anonymous 9 years ago 0

In Windows 7 and Win 8 there was a colorization effect when hovering with the mouse over.

When getting with mouse over:

Stardock's WindowBlinds brought this back to Windows 10, but it changes to much on the style.

Could this tweaker bring this back? I would be so happy, because it looked so awesome.

Restore grouping of sub-windows from an application

Anonymous 9 years ago 0

I've an application for which I have many sub-windows and arrange them with the tweaker as I want them to be ordered. But everytime I restart this application, the sub-windows will be randomly orderd (seems so) and I have to do the ordering from scratch. Is there any chance to save this ordering?

Resource Monitor instead of Task Manager on "Middle click on empty space"

It would be great to add an option to open the "Resource Monitor" (or any other program) on "Middle click on empty space".

Background application groups de-group for a split second on click

Anonymous 9 years ago updated by Michael (Ramen Software) 9 years ago 2

Windows 10, Version 1511.

Grouping behavior is set to be like Windows default.
So basically when clicking on an grouped button of an unfocused application, it ungroups the button (or rather shows the animation for it I'd say) for a split second, goes back to normal and then proceeds to show the thumbnails.
Only a minor annoyance, really, but still throws me off a bit.

I can't really say when this started happening, but I was running a Windows 10 install that didn't get any updates before (I couldn't really fix that so I went with a reinstall by now), so I guess it worked back in RTM, if that's of any help.

Answer

OK, I figured that you were probably using the beta version, and I could reproduce the issue. I've released a new beta version which should fix it.
