Lose Right Click menu with V. 4.5.5

Anonymous 6 years ago updated by RaMMicHaeL 6 years ago 2
when i updated to version 4.5.5, i found that i could no longer right click a program in the taskbar and get the "Restore/Move/Size/Minimize/Maximize/Close" right click menu.  I did a system restore to revert back to V 4.5.1, and it fixed the problem.  If i hold Shift + Right Click, i get the newer "Pinned" right click menu that I do not like.

Run TotalCommander and configure 'mouse wheel - cycle between taskbar buttons'.
Every program cycles well except TotalCommander icon..

Extend nocheck_minimize to include clicking on the active window's thumnail

Anonymous 6 years ago updated by RaMMicHaeL 6 years ago 3
The option for minimizing regardless of whether the window claims to be able to minimize works for the various advanced mouse controls, but not for a simple click on the thumbnail of the active window. Could you please change this?
RaMMicHaeL 6 years ago
OK, I understand what you mean.
That happens because when you're using an option of the tweaker (such as minimize to scroll), the tweaker does the minimization, so it can control the behavior. When you click on a taskbar button, explorer does it, so the nocheck_minimize option has no effect

i'm getting these error messages in event viewer

I don't know the conditions to reproduce and this is rare and not a problem at all, but as far as i'm here..

Button for advances settings.

Would be nice have ability access advanced settings within main 7+TT window or it's settings window, without need to right click on tray icon, which impossible to do when it's hidden.
RaMMicHaeL 6 years ago
You can access the Advanced Options from the main window context menu.

Resize Taskbar Preview Thumbnail

There's a registry option available, and even a corresponding tool to adjust the thumbnail's size.

Why should I clone the functionality to 7+ Taskbar Tweaker?

Disable Aero Peek

Anonymous 7 years ago updated by Horizon 6 years ago 1

I really dislike Aero peek when hovering over one of the thumbnails / list items.

It would be really great if Taskbar Tweaker had an option to disable it.

Right now I disable it from Advanced System Settings > Performance Options > Visual Effects (Custom)

Taskbar Tweaker crashes Desktop Manager with Google Talk

Anonymous 8 years ago updated by RaMMicHaeL 7 years ago 0

Using Taskbar Tweaker 4.1.1 and Google Talk, when Google Talk pops up a notification for a new GMail or Google Talk, Desktop Manager crashes with "Desktop Manager has stopped working". If Taskbar Tweaker isn't running I don't see this message.

Possibly fixed.
Please submit a new report if it happens with a recent version of the tweaker.
