Add option to minimize current window if left-clicked on the current active group

There are 3 different options of left-clicking upon current active group: show previews, switch windows in cycle or open last window if group is not active.


I would suggest you to add additional option to hide/minimize current active window, when left-clicking its current active group. I think it is very comfortable when you can minimize window by clicking it on the taskbar, without moving your mouse to the top right corner of the window. It is also comfortable, when you want to quickly see some information in maximized window and then hide it in order to switch to other window. Please, consider such an option.

Add DisplayFusion support

DisplayFusion is a program that makes multiple monitor interfaces in Windows 7 actually worthwhile (otherwise you just have a $200 wallpaper viewer with minimal support). DisplayFusion allows you to put a separate taskbar on your secondary monitors, but it appears to not work with taskbar tweaker's changes (which I also consider life saving).


So to clarify, taskbar tweaker works on my main monitor's taskbar, but not on DisplayFusion's emulated taskbars for secondary monitors. I was wondering if support for this would be possible.

As far as I know, their second taskbar is a manually implemented clone of the original one. In such case, I'd have to reimplement the tweaks as well.
This is not planned, especially considering the fact that Windows 8 has a native support for multiple taskbars, which the tweaker already supports.

I guess the best you can do is to ask DisplayFusion for the features you'd like to have on the second monitor.

A group can't be closed by Middle Click.

When the Middle Click is set to close a window, windows group is not being closed by Middle Click.
По СКМ, при настройке закрывать окно, группа окон не закрывается.

Увидел Вашу замечательную функцию изменения громкости колесиком мыши когда курсор на Панели задач или в Зоне объявлений Панели задач. Но громкость и так менять довольно легко (значок громкости), а вот другая полезная и частая функция спрятана довольно глубже - изменение Яркости экрана.
Вот и предложение - менять яркость колесиком.

I found Your fascinating option of volume change using mouse wheel when cursor in either on Task panel or on Notification Area of Task panel. However it is quite easy to do it anyway (just click on Volume tray icon and that's it) while another useful and oftenly used feature is Brightness Level change and it's way longer to do on default.
So here is my suggestion... a possibility to change Brightness level by mouse wheel.

Want colored icon in system tray

For some reason beyond my meager intelligence, it has become fashionable to have system tray icons be white.  This is bad, because it has long been known from psychophysical experiments that when humans do visual search, the fastest characteristic to search on is color, with red btw being the fastest to find.  Searching on shape is much slower.

Consequently, could you please provide a preference for the tray icon to have some kind of color, maybe not red, but something particular to 7tt?  In fact, I would suggest that some colored tray icon be the default, but for that chacun a son gout.

Done in v4.5.7: If the file "7+ Taskbar Tweaker.ico" exists, it's used as a tray icon.

Use native windows 10 audio pop-up, when scrolling over the systray

It would be nice, if the "scroll to change audio" used the native windows 10 UI instead of the windows 7 ui.

After the 4.5.3 update, middle clicks don't behave correctly on groups

Up to 4.5.2, middle clicking window groups did what the user had set middle clicks to do on the tweaker option. ie: if set to close, it would close it; if set to switch to, it would open the window list as if you had pressed the left button, etc. After updating to 4.5.3, middle clicking window groups opens a new instance instead, regardless of what we set the button to do. Please fix this behavior so that it works as before.

Remove "pop up" Start Menu button (Windows 8.1)

I just updated to Windows 8.1 and i didn't like the new feature that pop ups an icon of the Start Menu button when you hover on the bottom left corner of the screen.
.
It's pretty annoying when you try to reach the item on the left of the taskbar and accidentally reaches the corner, then that icon pop ups and you have to move your mouse away and then go again with more caution...
.
