Do you mean only minimized windows, or all windows that are not the Active Window?

Because new updates sometimes brings new bugs, this is not desirable.

Regarding the second picture:
Since I've been using your program, I learned to use Middle Click to close taskbar tasks.

I think this technique can also be useful in Taskbar Inspector, and replace the red X's in the picture, in order to allow a quick/easy closing by mouse.

Mmm, What about to leave on the right side the same space as in the left side where is the left arrow in picture (as the sub Items)?

Sometimes it is more convenient for me to use the mouse only. Sometimes it is more convenient to use also the keyboard.
Thank you for writing what you think.

I'm using Quick Launch buttons to minimize gaps.

Advantages:
1. Saves space (There are very small icons).
2. It's there when paging (multipage taskbar).

The disadvantage is that it is not support Jump Lists.
So if we can get Jump Lists by RightClick (or Alt + RightClick) on Quick Launch button, It would be the best from my point of view.

Another solution to achieve the 2 advantages would be welcome...

I would prefer switching order like Alt+Tab of Windows, but without the preview window that make the switching more clumsy and slower.  I'm talking about directly switch similar to Alt+Esc, but in Alt+Tab order.
