I noticed that when a program adds an icon to the notification area
which previously never had one there, the icon has the normal padding.
You have to click on the "show hidden symbols" icon to remove its
padding too.
This also happens with the 7tt-icon after the automatic restart after updating 7tt.

As another workaround: Would it be possible to add a group/ungroup-toggle as an action for the new mouse button control events?
And maybe combine/uncombine too, if somebody wants to temporarily save space in the taskbar.
