That's a DNS issue.

I've switched to a different hosting yesterday, and it seems like the new DNS addresses hadn't fully applied yet.

For now, you can update manually.

No, that version (4.2.7) is not compatible with Windows 8.
Thanks for reminding me, I remove the notification for the experimental version.

Can you upload that file? (C:\Users\Vladimir\AppData\Local\Temp\stt6DC0.exe)

Alternatively, please open the file with notepad and post the contents (I suspect it's an html page).

Run at startup

I'm not familiar with the tool.

As an alternative, you might wan to put a shortcut of the tweaker in the startup folder (with the -hidewnd command line switch).

The account was suspended because the most recent version of the tweaker was falsely detected as malicious by Bitdefender :(

Run at startup

That doesn't make sense, the "Run at startup" checkbox merely removes/sets a registry value. It shouldn't affect options like volume control.

There were no relevant changes in v4.2.7, probably the update process rewrote the registry key with the correct data.
