Keyboard Shortcut for 'Minimize Active Window'.

Anónimo hace 6 años actualizado por maxoku hace 6 años 5

I was looking at the functions available via the Keyboard Shortcuts portion of the Advanced Options window, and I was hoping I could set a keyboard shortcut to minimize the currently active window, but this functionality isn't available. Please add this functionality, as I often want to minimize a window without un-maximizing it first, and I doubt I'm the only person who would appreciate this functionality.

Thank you for your consideration.

Done in v5.6.0.2 beta.

Please note: I mean that I can use Win+Down to minimize a non-maximized window, but if it is a maximized window, it un-maximizes it, then pressing Win+Down again will minimize it. I would like to make a keyboard shortcut (e.g. Win+Alt+Down) which will directly minimize the window without un-maximizing it first.

Meanwhile you can have a similar functionality by using this method to run nircmd with the following command line:

nircmd win min foreground

Also, you can use Win+number to minimize a maximized window, but you need to keep track of the window location.

It would also be nice to have that command while clicking on taskbar's empty space.

PS. that method didn't work.

Yes the new options for active window by clicking in taskbar's empty space works great. Thanks a lot.
