Why didn't I think of that, DUH!  That is part of my problems really - since my car accident in my teens, I tend to forget anything like a command that I don't use often, or where I put something in the house that I don't use often. SIGH!

I have tried Textify but I can't seem to get it to stay resident on my system - it would be a lot more convenient to use if I didn't have to open the program each time before I use it.  I could pin it to the task bar I suppose, but mine is getting very full as I already have 12 pinned programs.

Sorry about my previous post, It was supposed to end " I don't know too much about programming for Windows - I did my Computer Science studies between 1985 and 1992 - Windows didn't exist!" but I got overexcited and hit the post button without realizing I'd left that bit out.

I do want to say that I really like your approach to programming - light weight apps that do what they say and don't eat up system resources - that was how I was taught, back in the days when my allowed space on the University VAX network was only 64K.

I want to say thank you again, you have solved what was a very difficult problem for me, and I am going to go off line now and put it to good use,
