It should make no difference, both versions apply the same changes in the same way.
You're not using the latest version, please update to the latest version of 7+ Taskbar Tweaker.
I was able to reproduce the problem. Please try the newly released v5.11.2.1 beta.
Thanks. Another question: what's the version of your explorer.exe file? It can be found in the C:\Windows folder, and the file version can be seen in the file properties under the Details tab.
Also, does it happen with all apps, or only with Sticky Notes?
You might want to consider using Microsoft's winget, which keeps the tweaker automatically updated.
I'm not familiar with this problem. Can you please make a screenshot which demonstrates the problem, with the taskbar and your tweaker settings, including the combining option in Taskbar Inspector?
The mentioned link merely reports the latest version of the tweaker, along with the changelog. It isn't, and can't in any way be a virus, it's just text.
Unfortunately, I have no control over third party antivirus vendors. If you are a customer, please contact their support and report the problem.
I can, I just didn't see the need for it. Also, that's how the main UI behave, e.g. with the first two mouse wheel options.

Thank you for reporting the problem. I'm familiar with it, but unfortunately, I don't know how to fix it.
