Is there a setting in Tweaker that will lock each icon in a group to be in the selected position and not move?
I have used for years, donated at least twice, LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT! The ability to drag the icons inside a group just like on the taskbar is INDESPENSIBLE, and anytime Tweaker "breaks" for a few days or so waiting for an update I go thru withdrawals!
I have one program that the icons within the group are constantly rearranging themselves. At random, they never arrange to the same places, always different places at random. I use more than a dozen windows in this program, and WANT them to stay in th same positions where I place them. I use Tweaker to put them back each time, but next time I hover over that group, they have randomly rearranged themselves again. Does Tweaker have a way to "lock" them in the order I set them, and not allow them to move?

Thank you for the feedback Jeff.
Unfortunately, the only thing the tweaker provides is to sort items in a group in an alphabetical order. This can be done via the Taskbar Inspector, or with a mouse shortcut that can be configured with the advanced options.
Hey Michael (I assume that is your name?) - THANK YOU for responding to me!!
I have gone in and done that, and it does seem to work -- and STAY that way. The order they are in alphabetically is not even close to the order I like them in, but at least if it will STAY that way, I can find them easy enough, and I know I would gradually get used to it like that.
Do you know if there is any way to RENAME a window? I know that in MS Edge there is a way to rename Edge Windows, and then the icon in the taskbar will show whatever name you like. If I could do that on other windows, then I could letter them in the order I want, and then the alphabetical would sort them like I like them. Any wisdom you OR ANYONE ELSE might have on how to RENAME A WINDOW?
Again, THANK YOU SO MUCH for responding to me!!
Regarding renaming, it depends on the target program. You can try it with the WinSpy++ tool (download winspy.zip here), but it's not very user friendly, it's mainly a tool for developers. You might be able to change the window text, but it might be changed back by the program.
