cool! it would be even cooler if it wasn't integer-only

ok, after several hours of research renegade was identified. it was some obscure chrome update buried deep down in task scheduler that was trying to install XPS-viewer (xps viewer installer was the one that was terminating apps).. omg it's so ducked up..

the only effect was: every 20 minutes to terminate 7+TT and ProcessHacker..

I installed beta 5 right away  without testing beta 4 previously
So, the behaviour is as follows:
When clicking in corner on primary monitor, nothing happens. If corner clicked on secondary monitor, Start Menu shows.
I have vertically oriented task bars, but what I have tryed:
* relocating task bar to default position (wasn't able to open start menu when clicking in corner)
* tried 1 monitor only mode: with notebook monitor a single, with external monitor as single (not working)
* changed "main display" between 2 I have, start menu only shows on secondary always, but not works on primary
* disconnected external monitor completely: start menu not shows still

Thanks, that's sooo convenient now.
I've spotted a strange behavior on 2nd feature I asked, you implemented in beta 4, I'll elaborate in respective thread

i installed a newer (5.1.0.8) version and it's working now.

but it was not working on version 5.1.0.6 i double checked it.

thanks

i somewhat resolved it using a new feature to override "show desktop" button actions to show start menu when left clicked. it's at bottom as opposed to start button at top which is somewhat inconvenient: gotto move cursor farther, than when clicking (now hidden) start menu button, but ok anyways

i'm using win10

here is the screenshot to be sure i'm not messing with settings

i've installed latest beta but feature doesn't work.

i'm trying for example "showdesktop|mclick" with values from "emptyspace" paragraph in help file, but no effect

also, i can open new topic for this, but will ask here: are you planning to add "run program" function to advanced menu? e.g. it will be very convenient to run "resmon" (or whatever one likes) from emptyspace or showdesktop, as task manager is run by double clicking emptyspace now.

sorry for late reply.

this issue have ceased to be.

unfortunately, i don't remember whether i updated your tool between the moment i'd opened this topic and the moment i've found out everything works (but odds are i didn't: the only reason i could update to new beta version is to see if the issue was fixed)

there could've been release update, but i don't know whether it automatically installs

also, i wasn't able to take screenshots, since cursor is not present on screenshots and the cursor appearance was the main indicator. i was talking about simple drag'n'drop from file manager to quicklaunch panel on the taskbar. i don't get, what part of my post was obscure, sorry o_O

anyway, thanks for your tool!
