Volume change window is black when no sound device is connected
I disabled the internal speakers of my Laptop, but still use the 7+TT volume controls when I plug in my headphones.
However, when the headphones are not connected and I accidentally scroll on the taskbar a mostly black window is shown, somewhat larger than the normal volume slider window. While this is not a huge issue, it does not look like something that is supposed to happen.

I couldn't reproduce it. I disabled my sound device, and scrolling over the taskbar launched the Windows troubleshooter. That happens since the feature simulates a click on the volume control icon, and it launches the troubleshooter when no sound devices are available.
What happens on your laptop when you click on the volume control icon? Also, can you make a screenshot of the mostly black window?
Just tested it again and also got the toubleshooter window. Apparently something changed since I last tried it.
However, opening a help window when I accidentally scroll on the task bar is still not great.
Is there a way the feature could only be enabled if there is an enabled sound device?
I've just released v5.7.0.1 beta which should solve the issue. Please try it and let me know if it solves the issue for you.
By the way, I could reproduce the black window. It happens when you use the classic volume control.
