Also I wanted to request a feature: could you make an option to customize the width of space, which is shown when Start Button is removed?

The padding only affects the icons which are located on the taskbar. This is by design.
I thought about changing it for the popup too, but came to the conclusion that the feature is not necessary there, as the icons do not take valuable space (like they do on the taskbar).

Could you show me screenshots before and after this tweak, because now I don‘t notice changes too (I‘m looking at the right side of taskbar, as you said).

OK, thanks. It may be that I can‘t see the results in my taskbar, because I only have volume control icon enabled (+ language bar and clock (don‘t know if they count)).
