Taskbar Tweaker stops working when application is maximized from the tool tray

GreggHoover il y a 2 ans mis à jour il y a 2 ans 4

When I minimize mIRC to the tool tray, then maximize it again, Taskbar Tweaker stops functioning.  To fix it, I have to exit Taskbar Tweaker and restart it.  Is this something you can fix?

Thanks!

What do you mean by "stops functioning"? Please provide more details and exact steps to reproduce the problem. If you can share a video that demonstrates it, that will help.

Okay, I am running Windows 7.  I have TT set to minimize (it closes by scrolling down to the bottom of the screen) and place the task bar behind open programs so that it doesn't open when I run my mouse pointer to the bottom of the screen whenever a program is open.

I have mIRC (https://www.mirc.com/get.html free 30-day trial if you want to use it to reproduce the problem), which will minimize to the task tray (next to the clock) when I hold down SHIFT while minimizing it.  The problem occurs when I double-click the mIRC icon in the task tray to maximize mIRC again.  Once I do that, TT stops sending the task bar behind open programs, so that the task bar pops up whenever I run my mouse pointer to the bottom of the screen.  The only way I can get TT to start hiding the task bar again is to exit TT and restart it.

I hope this makes the problem more clear.  I'd make a video, but this old machine isn't up to the task.

Thank you,

Gregg Hoover.

Sounds like the disable_topmost advanced option gets disabled when mIRC is maximized. I might look at it one day, but it sounds rather specific so it's not a priority.

That's okay.  I don't often run mIRC in the task tray, but thought I'd mention it to you in case you wanted to know of the issue.

Thanks!
