Not a bug
Bug: Windows Server 2008 R2
When I hover over the edge of the taskbar an arrow is shown (in order to resize the taskbar) and when I then hit the left mouse button, all the taskbar buttons disappear. The only way to get them back is to disable 7+ or to make the taskbar "fixed".
Unfortunately this also happens when I click somewhere on the taskbar (not just the edge where the arrow pops up) but I can't really figure out when this bug will make the taskbar buttons disappear exactly. But it does happen every time I leftclick the arrow (no need to actually resize the taskbar).
Very strange and annoying.

Are you sure that the issue is caused by the tweaker, and does not happen when the tweaker is not running?
You're saying that closing the tweaker fixes this, but this might be only because the tweaker triggers a kind of "refresh" to the taskbar to reset some of the options. The bug itself might be unrelated to the tweaker.
Please try using your computer without the tweaker and see whether that makes the issue go away. If it indeed solves the issue, please try to turn off some of the options until the issue goes away to find out which of the tweaker's options causes the issue.
Even though you are right about that refresh thing it is definitely related to 7+
And no, it doesn't happen when the tweaker is not running.
It's really strange because I've used 7+ for quite some time on a Windows 7 machine, and Windows Server 2008 R2 should be pretty much the same in that regard.
It's also newly installed (the OS) so there isn't much that could be wrong with it.
I did install Classic shell but the problem also occurs without Classic shell so that can't be the reason either.
I'm afraid I have already tried all the options turned on or off.
Another strange thing is that sometimes it doesn't happen, the bug will not occur and I don't know why.
But most of the times it does occur when you click on the "wrong" place on the taskbar and the taskbar buttons will vanish.
So you're saying that it doesn't happen when the tweaker is not running. But the issue happens if the tweaker is running, even when all of the options are off. Is that right?
That's not something anyone ever reported about before. The only thing I have in mind we can try is the following: I can create different versions of the tweaker with some of the functionality removed, so that we can track which part of the functionality causes the problem. Are you willing to try different versions of the tweaker?
Yes, even with all options off that can be turned off (some options only have a radio button so something needs to be selected but I chose the standard function in order to test if the issue would go away)
And yes, I absolutely would be willing to try different versions of the tweaker.

Here are three test versions:

Each additional test version (in increasing order of the numbers) removes more functionality. Please make sure that all options are disabled, then try using test1 for a while. If you still have the issue, try test2, then test3, until the issue is gone. Let me know which test, if any, causes the issue to be fixed.
Ok, that's a little embarassing now but I've finally found the culprit and it wasn't your tweaker after all.
I thought that I had ruled out every other explanation for my issue, otherwise I wouldn't have started this thread but it turned out that WindowSpace (another application that adds functionality) is acting up quite a bit.
I hadn't thought about WindowSpace as a potential culprit since I had hidden the icon from the taskbar and so I had no clue that it was still running.
I'm very sorry that you wasted your time even though it had nothing to do with the tweaker.
At least you found it :) thanks for posting an update.
