This would be useful for those times when a problem app causes the mouse cursor to become very jumpy and stuck-in-the-mud, making task manager difficult to access.

'Kill Process' could be an additional registry value. That way it's there for those who need it and out of the way for others.

Especially pinned items; Windows' built-in lock command should have been apply pinned items also. I hope 7TT can tweak the default lock command to do just that.

There is also Start Killer and Metro Killer from Tordex; but I believe altering the start button and accessing the Start Menu are right down the alley 7+tt

They are components/functions of the taskbar after all :).

Adding Start Menu to the list of commands available for emptyspace in the registry settings would be good in combination with this... it would also be a nice feature for Windows 8 users who don't have the start button enabled.

Sorry 'bout that, I don't know what went wrong the first time I tried that out. It worked well after trying it again.

P.S. You're very welcome, the work you've put into this program is worth more than I was able to contribute.

I've tested v4.2.7.6; all is well with the x1/x2 buttons now.

Double-clicks still do not work well when the corresponding single-click is assigned to 'standard menu'. I understand, as you've said, that Windows' handling of this interferes with the processing of double-clicks. Double-clicks do now work when jump list is the single-click function, this wasn't the case before, thanks for that.

I'd like to see the option to have labels shown for non-grouped items, when either hovered or activated; akin to the 'decombine on hover' options.

But I would only like this available through taskbar inspector on an individual basis, not as a general setting.

I would also like to have programs grouped separately. Especially for double width taskbars. Keep top row reserved for pinned items and bottom row for regular tasks.

The OP's suggestion would work well for a single row taskbar.
