An option to disable transparency default effect in taskbar would be great.

Done in 7+ Taskbar Twekaer v4.5.6.

You can use StartIsBack if you are using Windows 8. It has that feature.
Even though there are other programs with this feature, it seems like it would be a perfect option for a "taskbar tweaker".  I prefer to keep my running programs to a minimum.
Moreover, I think this would be extremely easy to implement, as least for Windows 8.  Supposedly, enabling blur with the DwmEnableBlurBehindWindow function will remove the transparency.
I'd also vote for the feature. I tried to use "Opaque Taskbar" for disable transparency but the program is not always work. 7++ is a perfect software that always work so I'd like to see the option there.
My experience with "Opaque Taskbar" is the same, and also it is a resource hog. If you are using "7+ Taskbar Tweaker," then there is a good chance that you are also using "Classic Shell" (http://www.classicshell.net). The two programs complement each other very well, and "Classic Menu" has a "Disable taskbar transparency" feature that works.
It looks like there now is an open source tool available which is able to disable the taskbar transparency, see:

I'm on Windows 7, but I really miss when I was on Vista, windows border & task bar would become black when a window is maximized. It looks really ugly when you have a light color wallpaper and maximized a dark themed application (like Photoshop) and yet I don't wanna disable transparency completely. Can you do something to bring this vista style back?

That's a different feature from this. This feature says it is opaque all the time. It would be interesting to have 3 radio buttons: [ ] Keep transparency, [ ] Make opaque when a window is maximized, [ ] Make opaque all the time
Three options, would be nice :D 7+ Taskbar Tweaker is all about customize!
(So is my feature request recorded or I should open I new one? I thought they're very much relevant so I posted here)
doesn't hurt to create a new request :D
This is a perfect feature for 7+ Taskbar Tweaker. It's the only feature that I find missing from this product and I'd hate to run another piece of software just to get it. Looking at the last open source code drop for Classic Shell, it doesn't look very difficult to implement. Just open up ClassicStartMenuDLL.cpp and follow the g_bOpaqueTaskbar variable around to see what's going on.

How many donations do we need to get this done?

Currently, the most valuable donation I could receive is an extra day in the weekend. Could you arrange that? :)

Jokes aside, I'll try to look at it when I have some time. Thanks for the reference for Classic Shell, it will definitely help.

Implemented in 7+ Taskbar Tweaker v4.5.5.5 beta.
How to enable it in the current 4.5.9.2 alpha?
It's not available in v4.5.9.2. I've just released v4.5.9.3, please try it.
