Custom format for date and time (display seconds, display full date on the small taskbar)

Evgeny Vrublevsky 11 years ago updated by Michael (Ramen Software) 11 years ago 8

Changing of date and time format in "Region and Language Settings" affects all programs, not only the taskbar. I would like to change the date and time format only for the taskbar. It would be a great option for 7TT.

In v4.2 there's an option to display seconds on the tray clock.

If you are interested in a custom date format, please create a new feedback.

I'd like this too

I like it too, but unfortunately the project seems to be dead already. :(

It's not dead. The website is temporary down, I'm trying to sort it out.

About the suggested feature, currently it's not planned.

I think that possibility to display seconds is would be enough. Taskbar should use full time format instead of short time format for it. Maybe it's easier in implementation.

I'd realy like to have a custom format too. It would be awsome if it was possible to have date even when using small icons.

I think this should be re-opened.

The title of this request is...

Custom format for date and time (display seconds, display full date on the small taskbar)

...the response was...

...this ticket was clearly always about a "custom date/time format"...I'm not sure if the "display seconds on the tray clock" feature was written in response to this request (it looks like it was), but that wasn't what was requested here, at least not exactly.

In any case, I think this should be re-opened, based on having a "custom date/time format" option...& the "seconds" feature should be split out to a new request (which should be immediately closed, since it was already written/implemented).

This might be splitting hairs on what gets moved to a new ticket (sorry!), but this ticket was clearly always about a "custom date/time format" -- & creating a new ticket with this same (or a similar) title would be confusing, which is why I think the "seconds" feature is what needs split out (& marked completed). This request does mention "display seconds", but that wasn't the full request, so that's why I think this issue needs re-opened.

That's why I closed it.

There is a new ticket about custom date format:

You might want to see my comment to it.
