Pinning a runned application

When I try to pin to taskbar any program that already is runned and option "Don't group pinned items" is on new pinned application button isn't displayed until I close this application.
This isn't an annoying bug, but maybe it's not hard to fix it.

Yes, the "Don't group pinned items" option has a couple of side effects. Additional example:

Currently I don't plan to fix those, as I believe that they are not serious enough compared to the amount of required work to find a solution.
