Version 4.1.6 "could not load library" error message

Anonymous 11 years ago updated by Michael (Ramen Software) 11 years ago 4

After getting a notification that new version is available, i updated to 4.1.6. Immediately after it updated i got "could not load library" message. I tried restarting the computer, didn't help. So i uninstalled 7+TT (with removing settings), installed 4.1.5, and everything works  fine.

I'm on 64bit W7.

Please report if you encounter the issue with v4.2 or newer of the tweaker.

It works fine here on Windows 7.

I can't think of a reason for it to fail, as the changes from v4.1.5 are really minor.

Can you try to update manually, by downloading the setup from the website?

Actually, now that i got .5 working, i'm afraid to experiment further and possibly mess things up permanently :)

Then there's no way I can diagnose/fix the issue.
FYI, there's no much risk as the tweaker doesn't touch system files, only it's own in the installation path.

If you think you can reproduce it on your PC, and has some spare time to run a custom build or two, please contact me so I can solve this issue.

I am getting the "Could not load library (102)" error after upgrading to Windows 8.1 Pro.  I am running v4.2.6.  I even uninstalled and reinstalled to an alternate path (C:\Program Files\...) but I'm still getting the error.

Windows 8.1 is currently not supported.
